Radiology & Ultrasound
At Old Reynella Veterinary Clinic, our advanced radiology and ultrasound services help us diagnose health issues quickly and accurately, so your pet can receive the right care sooner. These imaging tools allow our veterinarians to see inside the body – from bones and joints to internal organs – without invasive procedures. Whether it’s part of a routine check‑up or to investigate a specific concern, our team uses state‑of‑the‑art equipment to support precise diagnosis and tailored treatment plans for your pet.
Radiology
Radiology is often an important first step in the diagnosis of unwell pets. We offer radiology services in-house and will have results available for you on the same day. If your pet requires X-rays to be performed, they will usually need to take place under sedation or a full anaesthetic in order to get an accurate result, and will require your pet to stay with us for the day. All radiology is performed following a consultation with our veterinary team.
Ultrasound
Veterinary ultrasound is a useful and non invasive diagnostic tool, often used in cases where pets are unwell, or for detecting pregnancy. Old Reynella Veterinary Clinic is now able to offer this service either as part of a detailed work up of in-patients, or for routine pregnancy checks in adult dogs and cats.
