Nurses
Our Practice Manager left her job at the zoo to pursue a career in Veterinary Nursing. She started with the clinic in 2003 and has now been a qualified vet nurse for many years. Michelle has a keen interest in the managerial side of our practice and works more behind the scenes to improve our service. She has an Australian Cattle Dog named Buddy, who was an abuse case that she rescued. She also has three cats that adopted her; Lilly, Smudge and Cleo. Michelle is also a keen horse rider, and is out and about competing on her horses in eventing most weekends.
Some of you might remember this face… welcome back Lauren!
Lauren has been with the Old Reynella practice since Dr. Ron Baker owned the clinic, and vet nursed for us for eight years (with a break for having her youngest son). Four years ago she decided to try her hand at human nursing at the Woman’s and Children’s Hospital. She has had four wonderful years working there, but has decided to come back to her first true love and passion—working with animals.
Along for the ride is her new Cavalier King Charles Spaniel puppy, Winnie (pictured).
The team are thrilled to have her back, so make sure you give a special warm welcome to our wonderful old / new team member the next time you pop by the clinic!
Kylie has been working with the practice since September 2006, has completed her studies and is now a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse. She has two dogs, an adopted Fox Terrier X named Timmy, and her pride and joy, her 4yo Alaskan Malamute, Zero. Kylie enjoys working at our reception desk and meeting our new clients, both four-legged and two!
Rox came to this profession in 2006 from working in Real Estate, in order to work more with animals. She is the proud mum of two young girls, and has recently adopted a new Cavalier X Pug puppy called Reece to join her. Rox enjoys the hands on side of veterinary nursing.
